My Yoga classes are offered in ongoing sessions throughout the year, with registration through the Chester Recreation Department. Schedules, pricing, and location vary.

Basics & Beyond Yoga

Postures are taught with focus on the finer points of alignment while linking the basic mechanics of the poses to breath. A moderately paced flow class with challenges added to the mix to enhance strength, balance and flexibility. This class will leave you feeling stronger, longer and calmer. Suitable for all levels, especially experienced beginners and intermediate students. Modifications are offered accordingly.

Gentle Flow

CYA-E-RYT 500 hour certified yoga teacher
Canadian Yoga Allaince – 500 hour certified yoga teacher

This class is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, and increase flexibility & strength using simple movements to increase range of motion of the major joints. Alignment principles, gentle breathing techniques, and basic poses will be taught at a slow pace with modifications for minor physical limitations. Occasional challenging postures are introduced for those looking to spice up their practice.

Suitable for 50s+, those new to yoga, or for students who simply prefer a less strenuous class.
